KAREN M. REILLY – Medical Expertise

After a diverse nursing career that included practicing on a medical-surgical unit, supervising in a nursing home and hospital utilization review/quality assurance, Karen began working with Clyde D. Bergstresser’s law practice in 1988 as a nurse-paralegal. An ardent patient advocate as a nursing professional, she is dedicated to those who have suffered injuries as a result of negligence.

In addition to working with the medical malpractice team in evaluating cases, reviewing and summarizing medical records, drafting legal documents, attending depositions, performing medical research and preparing cases for trial, Karen also takes part in client conferences and expert consultations.

Karen’s nursing background is important in providing the legal team better understanding and insight into the full extent of damages endured by the firm’s grievously injured clients.

Karen has been a member of the faculty of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program.

Her support to the attorneys as a nurse-paralegal is invaluable.
